Bungie just dropped a massive bombshell on the community in regard to this entire NDA leak situation involving popular Twitch streamer Ekuegan Teko-Agbo.
If you are not familiar with this situation, here is a short summary: In order to preview impending improvements and gain input on the state and future of Destiny 2, Bungie periodically organizes a private meeting with top players and content developers from the Destiny 2 community. Nevertheless, on April 5, a user named “Freezing Dart” published what seem to be images of a PowerPoint presentation from the most recent summit on Discord, despite the fact that these events are invite-only and subject to strict non-disclosure agreements. The new content, weaponry, and gameplay updates were supposedly disclosed in the slideshow. A week after the breach, Bungie did the unthinkable: they officially acknowledged it.,
The Destiny 2 Team retweeted their previous tweet saying
Our Security and Legal teams have reviewed irrefutable evidence, including video recordings, verified messages, and images demonstrating a pattern over time that confirm the same individual shared confidential information from Community Summits spanning multiple years. https://t.co/y0vjkVeb9i

their Security and Legal teams have reviewed irrefutable evidence, including video recordings, verified messages, and images demonstrating a pattern over time that confirms the same individual shared confidential information from Community Summits spanning multiple years.
EK had been involved with at least four Community Summits so we don’t know how many times he had done this offense but Bungie basically just absolutely dropped the hammer on the situation.
They then went on to say “We are very disappointed to have learned this information and wish that things had gone differently with this person. We do not take these actions lightly, and we are confident in our decision. This is our final communication on the matter”
On the other hand, it is making this entire situation so much more devastating because he’s been proclaiming his innocence and Bungie has said that they’re not going to be taking legal action against him in fact just earlier he posted this tweet
This situation has escalated to such a disastrous level and it is only getting worse by the minute right now. Initially, he could have been banned inside Destiny 2 and then moved on to another game and maintained all the different Partnerships and sponsorships and brand deals that he has but now it’s escalating further, and he doubles down saying he’s innocent.
Even though Aztecross, Gladd and many others also tweeted in his favor but all of them have just been dunked on now due to the situation happening right now.
I will say, if you are at fault, come out and get out in front of it with Bungie direct. Best advice ever from @DattosDestiny. I had a similar issue come up that blew up in my face. It sucked opening my phone to see comments from everyone in the community wanting my head.

I've seen @Ekuegan as nothing but kind to me & the community. He's a pillar.

I trust him; take it for what it's worth.
At the VERY least, Bungie needs to look at this more closely.
We cannot judge. Only a few know the facts, & THEY need to talk it out.
Bungie and this community have given him so much support and even feature on Community Focus showing him tons of love and respect over the years and have helped propel his career to the heights that where he is right now. While all this is unfolding, Ekuegan seems to be at a career risk situation.
Stay Tuned!
