WhatsApp announced multi-device compatibility last year, allowing you to use it on many devices, but it didn’t support multiple phones being used. This useful feature has been improved, as it now allows up to four different phones to be linked to a single WhatsApp account and use it simultaneously. The nice aspect is that this configuration will operate even if the main Phone is unavailable.
Mark Zuckerberg, on a recent post on Facebook, has revealed that you will now be able to use same WhatsApp account on 4 different Phones. And once multiple phones are linked, you can easily maintain the flow of conversations without any hassle.
This will be particularly useful if your phone’s power runs out. And even if this occurs, you will be able to resume where you left off. Chats will be synchronize between phones thanks to multi-phone linking capability. And, like the bulk of WhatsApp’s features, this is end-to-end encrypted.
You can now download WhatsApp on any phone and use the same account, where you will be given a code to verify for the new phone.
All of this is just an effort to let you utilize the undoubtedly popular messaging network on any phone! So, how do you feel about the latest update? Please share your ideas in the comments section below.
